Accommodation contract between the property and the guest:

House rules

Dear Guests,

Our house rules are intended to ensure that every guest can spend their days on Szent György Hill in complete peace, in harmony with the local environment, the activities on offer and the everyday life of the village, enjoying the comfort of our guest house and the local craftsmen, wineries and gourmet restaurants. To keep this harmony, we all need to observe the following:

  1. Only persons with a photo ID suitable for tourist registration who have been registered before occupying the property may stay at the property, and at least one of them must be over 18.
  2. Prior registration of guests by completing the tourist registration form is required by law. Please note that for unregistered visitors staying at the property after 11 pm, we charge a surcharge equal to the accommodation fee.
  3. Bringing in or storing hazardous substances, substances harmful to health, pyrotechnics or anything that may cause human infection is strictly prohibited!
  4. Persons under the influence of drugs or heavy alcohol who provoke others or are violent may not stay at the property. In such cases the accommodation will be terminated at the expense of the guest who made the booking, no accommodation will be provided to the person concerned, and the police will be notified immediately.
  5. The property is non-smoking; smoking or the use of smoking-imitating devices is only permitted in the designated outdoor area.
  6. Please do not wear outdoor shoes in the fenced inner garden. Bicycles and e-bikes kept in the inner garden may only be used under the caretaker’s supervision.
  7. When using the equipment, facilities and wellness services of the property, please use them as intended, follow the caretaker’s instructions and do everything possible to avoid accidents and damage!
  8. The pool, the sauna house and the related relaxation area are the owner’s private property, provided as part of our service. Guests are only restricted by the owner’s requirements of hygiene and safety. The control equipment may only be operated by the caretaker – please let him know your requests. Children under 12 may only be in the pool area under parental supervision.
  9. We recommend a maximum of 15 minutes in the sauna, followed by at least the same amount of rest. When using the pool in winter, please use the entrance in front of the steps so that the pool stays heated. The rain shower is recommended for guests used to saunas. In winter, please remember to close the pool roof. Pets must not be taken into the pool area – not even well-trained ones!
  10. If the pool water becomes contaminated in any way, please notify the caretaker immediately. Please ask the caretaker for towels and sauna sheets.
  11. Use of the Finnish sauna is not recommended for children under 14 for health reasons.
  12. Using the pool and saunas under the influence of alcohol, mind-altering or narcotic substances is strictly PROHIBITED!
  13. Eating or drinking in the pool is PROHIBITED! Glasses, bottles and sharp objects must NOT be taken into the pool or the saunas. Garden furniture must NOT be placed in the water! Please use the garden shower after applying sun cream.
  14. There is no lifeguard in the pool area; everyone uses it, and brings children there, at their own risk.
  15. Please hand in any lost property to the caretaker.
  16. Registered guests are in all cases objectively liable, financially and otherwise, for any damage caused to the building, furnishings or equipment through improper use; full compensation up to the amount of the damage may be claimed from them in addition to the security deposit.
  17. To cover the above, guests are required to pay a security deposit (for direct bookings at the time of booking, for Booking.com reservations on arrival, in cash). All restoration costs caused by improper use – e.g. cleaning the pool requiring a water change, extra work beyond normal cleaning of the garden, interior and furnishings, damage to the functions of the building, furnishings and equipment, loss of value caused by irresponsible behaviour or negligence, removal of contamination caused by uncivilised behaviour, physical damage to carpets, upholstery and curtains – may be deducted from the deposit, and any amount exceeding it may be claimed as compensation.
  18. The guest house is located in a village residential area, therefore noisy entertainment and music in the pool and garden area after 11 pm are not permitted under local regulations. In the event of a justified complaint from neighbours, the deposit will be withheld until the complaint is resolved.
  19. On departure, the registered guest must inform the caretaker of any damage, breakage, contamination or missing items that occurred during the stay. The caretaker’s checklist applies, so please hand over the property carefully on departure.

Please use the manual fire alarms in the building only when justified. Registered guests are financially liable for any damage and costs caused to the safety equipment by unjustified use.

Registered guests are jointly liable for damage caused by minors.

If you notice any technical problem or have a suggestion to improve our services, please let our team know in person or by phone as soon as possible so that we can take action.

The guest house is dog-friendly within limits; we do not accept cats. Dogs that are used to living indoors are welcome at the daily rate stated in our price list, up to 12 kg body weight per dog. Exceeding the declared weight is considered a breach of the house rules.

By booking the property you accept the above contract as house rules binding on you and your fellow guests.
